Shirley Hom is Secretary-Treasurer and Chief Compliance Officer at Cumberland Investment Counsel Inc. (“CIC”) with responsibility for the firm’s compliance and areas of operations, and also assists with given client relationships. She has over 20 years of investment-related experience in operations, compliance and general management, and has been with the firm since 1992. Ms. Hom has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant.

Ms. Hom is a shareholder of Cumberland Partners Limited, the firm’s parent company.
