Gerald Connor has been Chairman of Cumberland Partners Limited and Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc. since founding the firm, together with three partners in 1997, and Director of Cumberland Investment Counsel Inc. (“CIC”) since it was acquired by parent company Cumberland Partners Limited in 2007. He is also a portfolio manager at both Cumberland Investment Counsel Inc. and Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc. (collectively “Cumberland Private Wealth”).  Prior to Cumberland Private Wealth, Mr. Connor was a founding partner of Connor, Clark & Co., Connor Clark & Lunn, and 20/20 Investment Management, which collectively managed over $16 billion for clients, pension plans and mutual funds. Before that, he managed discretionary funds at Baker Weeks of Canada and headed the Canadian operations of Francis I. DuPont and Co. Mr. Connor was a director of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Foundation in Toronto for 14 years, director of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for 2 years, trustee of Allied Properties REIT for 22 years, and a director of SQI Diagnostics Inc. for 8 years.

Mr. Connor is a significant shareholder of Cumberland Partners Limited, the firm’s parent company.
